A family of three needs help to replace their hot water heater, which is currently broken. This family has a son involved in Blueprints’ Head Start program. Dad has his CDL license and just recently experienced a job lay off, which has put them in a financial rut. He has been diligently searching for new employment, while Mom works part-time selling craft items she makes by hand. Their hot water heater has been off for about two weeks and they’ve been making things work through the kindness of their close friends and family. Funds will be used to purchase a new hot water tank and necessary plumbing, and an electrician will do the installation. With a new hot water tank, they will not have to worry about seeking out a hot shower or other daily needs, especially with the upcoming chilly weather.
