Disabled gentleman who was assisted by Blueprints with rental assistance and budget counseling recently moved into Section 8 home, but the landlord does not provide a stove or refrigerator. His limited income is not sufficient to purchase those appliances after he pays for rent and utilities. It’s been a real struggle for him. He’s been using a cooler outside to store his food. Blueprints has an agreement with Lowe’s in Washington through which these items can be purchased at a reduced cost.
