Single mom with 2 children in middle school, one with a severe disability, is in need of a refrigerator.. She’s working with Blueprints’ Child Welfare services at present. She has recently returned to college and her goal is to become a domestic abuse counselor upon graduation. Her current refrigerator will not shut properly, and is kept closed with velcro. Her food spoils quickly and she has to make several trips to the grocery store to keep her children fed. It’s taking a toll on her household budget and causing a lot of stress. We are hoping to pick up a used or scratch & dent fridge to resolve this barrier.
