A hot shower at the end of a hard day is not a luxury. Unfortunately, for this homeowner, it is. Past bills for water and sewage were in her ex-husband’s name and they are no longer together. Despite many housing hardships – roof, wet basement, etc, she continues to work as a home health aide and confront her problems. She’s relying on the kindness of friends and neighbors to keep herself and her home clean, but she really needs a LIFT to get her water running. She does not qualify for utility assistance at present. Blueprints case worker is connecting her to other resources to help fix other problems with her home. ****This LIFT was not fully funded.
