Vehicle is necessary to get child to Head Start and to take another special needs child to regular appointments at Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh. Child has serious heart defect which require many check-ups. Vehicle repair estimate from local mechanic was over $1000, but Blueprints partnership with Western Area Career & Technology Center will get repairs done for $600. Family is involved in Blueprints 2GEN program, Family Literacy, Financial Literacy and Head Start.
