A large family of 8 involved in Blueprints Family Literacy, Early Learning and WIC services, are in need of A Little LIFT. Mom wants to obtain her permit and license to help drive around their 6 children and to also obtain a job. She is currently involved in Family Literacy to get her GED and is very active in the parenting activities. The family struggles because anytime they have a doctors appointment or grocery shopping, all of the kids and both Mom & Dad have to go so the kids aren’t left at home. Getting Mom a license will allow the family to have easier transportation to appointments, school and shopping. It will also provide Mom the opportunity to get work and help provide financial support to her family.
