A single mom, involved in multiple Blueprints’ programs, needs a little LIFT to make it through a tough time. She is on a very limited income and needs two tires replaced on her vehicle to ensure that her son and another child she takes to Head Start, can continue attending their Early Learning program. Her current tires are very worn down with very little tread, which can also pose a problem with upcoming winter weather. If this mom loses her transportation, her son and the other child are at risk of losing their enrollment position. This mom is currently in the process of starting her career path and getting enrolled for CNA classes with help from the Blueprints 2GEN program. She is also very active on the Head Start Policy Council and in the classroom during parent involvement days.
