A single mom involved with Blueprints’ Early Learning, is in need of a portable washing machine. Mom works a low wage job and resides in low-income housing with her children. She does not have her own transportation and relies on a ride to and from work, school and the laundry mat, and is oftentimes not able to find a a way there. She is having a hard time saving for transportation to help her reach her goals because of the money going towards bills, food and the laundry mat. Fulfilling this need for mom will allow her to save money that can be put towards transportation for her and her children as well as ensure clean clothes for the family.
