A long time Blueprints’ foster family is in need of some help to create adequate space for their 5 newly adopted children and another foster child. The children are nieces and a nephew fostered through our Kinship Care Program on an emergency basis. Currently, the girls are all sharing one bedroom. They had plans to finish their basement to create an extra bedroom, but a recent house fire interrupted those plans. While they have the expertise to finish the room themselves to create adequate living space for all, they need a little help with obtaining the supplies to get started. If completed, this will allow for this family of 8 to remain compliant with state foster care regulations. Blueprints is fortunate to have partnered with Lowe’s in Washington on the LIFT Project.
