A single dad with four young children has been met with a hard time this winter. His four children, involved in Blueprints TIPP Program, and himself have been sleeping on the floor and couches due to lack of beds. Dad is now unemployed and looking for work. They had initially secured bedding through another resource, but found that the mattresses had bugs and had to throw them out. The extermination of the bugs ended up being very costly for the family, and they are unable to afford beds at this time. The children, ages 10, 9, 5 & 4, asked Dad for beds this Christmas. Funding this LIFT would allow the family to have the basic need of bedding this holiday season.
