A single working mom who was 8 months pregnant with her second child, needed A Little LIFT to get her through the winter months. Two of her tires were worn down so significantly, that wires were showing through the tire. In order to continue working to provide for her family, keep her child’s enrollment status with Head Start and make all of her needed doctors appointments, she needed new tires for her vehicle. The community contributed to her cause and she has been able to keep her employment and her child’s attendance has been consistent.
