Funds generated through A Little LIFT paid the second half of this client’s rent at a rehab facility in April 2018; she was able to maintain her placement and maintain sobriety. Since this barrier was removed, she has gained employment, gained full custody of her child, graduated from her recovery group and goes voluntarily once a month. She is now able to save up money to get into her own apartment, all while maintaining sobriety. If she had not been able to stay there she would not have made any of these milestones in recovery.
