A Family Literacy and Head Start single mom has overcome many barriers in her journey to self-sufficiency and needs a vehicle repair to keep the momentum going. Mom escaped a domestic violence situation and spent a year in a family shelter with her young daughter. She was able to secure housing, purchase a vehicle and is working diligently towards her GED for employment. Mom is expecting a son and needs her vehicle to get to work and to necessary appointments for herself and her children.
