A single mom was able to find housing after living in a women’s shelter and escaping a domestic violence situation with her daughter. She needed a bed and mattress for her toddler since she has been sharing a bed with mom and has now outgrown the space. People funded this LIFT and she was able to get a bed for her daughter. Her daughter is still enrolled with Blueprints’ Early Learning and has been doing great! Mom has been working with our Family Literacy Program to obtain her GED and find work. She has one more section to complete in September and is excited to start a new chapter of her life in the workforce!
