A local single mom and her children were participating in Blueprints’ Truancy Prevention Program and were in need of two twin mattresses for the children. Several people came together to support this family in need and was able to provide them with the mattresses and a much needed peaceful night’s sleep. Since A Little LIFT funded this family’s need, they are no longer in need of Truancy Prevention as the children’s attendance has greatly improved.
