A family that had worked to move out of low-income housing found themselves in need during the winter months. While they were able to secure new housing, they did not have reliable transportation and oftentimes had to walk their young children over a mile to preschool. Through A Little LIFT, the community came together to fund 6 months worth of bus tickets for this family to make it to school and back. Their preschool teacher provides them with the tickets monthly and their attendance has improved greatly.
