A Little LIFT
“Where crowd funding meets barrier elimination”
Many of our neighbors struggle to find stability; to attain self-sufficiency; and to ultimately achieve prosperity.
ALL [A Little LIFT] is a community led, member directed initiative that has an immediate impact on Blueprints [formerly Community Action Southwest] participating individuals and families who are living this struggle.
Blueprints works with more than 19,000 people each year, implementing 35+ services from more 34 locations throughout southwestern PA and West Virginia.
Barriers to self-reliance frequently cannot be resolved with traditional, grant funded programming, and our clientele needlessly lose progress towards self-reliance, perpetuating the need for additional services and dependence on those services.
The ALL initiative is an opportunity for community members or groups to easily prevent small problems from becoming catastrophes for local families and making our community stronger as a result.
All funds received through this initiative are used by Blueprints team members to resolve client barriers.
FUNDS ARE NEVER PAID DIRECTLY TO BLUEPRINTS’ CLIENTS.

A recently single mother and her two children are looking for help to replace the worn tires on her vehicle. The father left the family with no support and mom has been struggling to make ends meet for her children. Her son is disabled and has many doctors appointments, and her daughter is enrolled in Blueprints' Head Start. She is currently searching for a job to help her family financially, but is limited in what she can find due to faulty tires. A pregnant single mom is in need of A Little LIFT to replace her stove so she can once again cook healthy meals for her children and herself. She has had a rough walk over the past several years due to addiction, but has fought hard to put herself on a better path. She has been completely clean for 3 years and has been motivated to make several positive changes in her life. She is regaining custody of her two children by the end of September and is due with her third child in November. Her stove has been broken for about a year now and she has had to cook meals primarily in the microwave. A repairman looked at the stove and determined it could not be fixed. A new stove would allow this pregnant mom to get adequate nutrition for herself and her growing children.$100.00 donated of $279.00 goalDonate
